Thank you for applying to be volunteer judge with Richmond Forum Speech and Debate Initiative. Our judges play a critical role in assuring our region's students have access to competitive speech and debate. Your application is pending successful completion of a background check through Sterling Volunteers. If you have completed a background check within the last two years, you are eligible for judging. Judges who wish to be compensated must complete an in-person or virtual training with Richmond Forum staff or contracted facilitators, complete the online NSDA Level 1 adjudication training series, and online NSDA Multicultural Competency training.

Once you receive the sign up for RFSDL tournament dates, please select the dates for which you are available. Please communicate  as early as possible to Lucretia@richmondforum.org if you are unable to attend the tournament for any reason.
